30 for 30

I have been 30 for four months now and in those four months, my life has drastically changed.  It sounds very dramatic, I know, but it is definitely the truth.  Before this year, I told myself a  million times, how I needed to make changes in order to truly let go of the things that were holding me back. The words would roll off my tongue before I could think and then I'd be making promises I knew I wouldn't be able to keep.  Truth be told, I was selfish and egotistical and didn't want to change for anyone.  And although no one asked me to change for them, my ego always got in the way and I always felt like I had to keep my defenses up in order to protect myself.  From what, I have no earthly idea!  Since April so much has happened and changed me that I can never go back to being the person I was before.  As much as I have had to stop and truly think, I am grateful for all that has happened.

The biggest blessing has been the shit that has hit the fan and it is through these moments, that I have learned the most.  It is also through my guy and my mom, and so many others, who have not held my hand through life's curves, but who have had my back-which is what I truly needed.  So, in honor of this year and all the major changes that have occurred, here is a 30 for 30 list of things you may or may  not know about me.

30 for 30

1.  I loathe frogs!  Loathe.  Please don't ever bring one around me. 

2.  I have OCD and my OCD is all about keeping things organized.  It brings me immense comfort when I can take a pile of mess and make it nice and neat. 

3.  I am the middle child in my family and LOVE it. 

4.  I have never broken a bone in my body.

5.  I am not allergic to anything and when I thought I was, it was determined that I was not. 

6.  The best decision I ever made was moving to Las Vegas!

7.  I still love Kenny Chesney.

8.  Planning is in my blood and it too, provides me with a sense of tranquility when life is chaotic.

9.  Surprises are not my thing-unless I know about them in advance.  Hehe.

10.  I am an Aries, through and through. 

11.  I have watched every single episode of FRIENDS, at least 20 times each, and I never get tired of it. 

12.  Mice and rats are a no go too!  

13.  My friend Willie taught me how to drive in the parking lot of our movie theater, when I was 18. 

14.  If you treat me bad once and you show me who you are, I promise you I will believe it. 

15.  My biggest fear is losing the ones I love and intruders. 

16.  I believe in spirits, most definitely!

17.  I am incredibly proud of all I am and all I have accomplished. 

18.  If I could have dinner with three people living or dead, I would choose my Grandma Elida, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and J.K. Rowling. 

19.  My biggest dream is to publish a book.

20.  My second biggest dream is to have a huge library in the house. 

21.  Some people may look at me and think I am a bitch, but I am actually incredibly nice, I just choose wisely, who I wish to spend my energy on. 

22.  22 is my favorite number and it is everywhere I look.

23.  I can remember almost every moment of my life. 

24.  I believe in the universe and the happy coincidences it gives. 

25.  Deep down, I am the biggest nerd there is.

26.  Reading and writing are two of many things, I don't ever want to live without.

27.  My vision is 15/20 and I actually feel bad about it.  

28.  Puss is my least favorite word of all time!

29.  I collect pens and notebooks that I never use. 

30.  I am the happiest I have ever been in my life.
